Horseradish from our garden

Our traditional Czech christmas meal begins with a wonderful fish soup followed by Czech sausage that we have made by the Weiner Wagon, carp, potato salad, celery root and of course Andrea's Czech christmas cookies. But, the special touch for the sausage is to have some fresh horseradish to give it a kick and to clear the head! We dug this horseradish up from the garden, glad the ground had thawed, chopped it up and grated it coarsely in the blender. We had a christmas toast with some Campari and the final touch was of course some good Czech beer!
